----go on a word hunt:  WW, SA, and Mr. M's Derivational group find more words to fit the pattern or category of your spelling  words. (come up with more examples)
Language arts-- write a letter to Billie Jo's Aunt Ellis in Texas as if you are Billie Jo. Explain what the dust bowl is like, how it feels to no longer play piano, hope for rain, and how Dad doesn't talk to her. Include your answer to Aunt Ellis' invitation to moving out to Texas (what would you do?)
